Director: Jordan Belson
Year: 1961
Time: 8 mins
Music: Jordan Belson
Eye of Sound: Heir to the noble Fischinger tradition, Belson constructs a subjective and purportedly spiritual voyage into the realm of allures, where shapes and all things transient eventually dissolve into true nothingness. As a continuation of the famous Vortex concerts, Belson wrote the electronic music for this experimental piece where his continuing obsession with visual monads and their extension is given further immersive potential.

Fantastic blog! Thanks for that, I'm delighted I found it.
ReplyDeleteBut I have no film but only sound on this one....
Hi. Thanks for your kind words.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure there must be something wrong with your software. Try using VLC to watch the film - possibly the most reliable and complete application around.
Cheers
Thanks for your advice. You are right; it doesn't work in the quicktimeplayer but fine in VLC. The other films I'm downloaded from the side do work in quicktime.
